Nancy Haley Scholarship
The Nancy Haley Scholarship was established in remembrance of Chapter Member and Legal Administrator of Fisher, Tousey, Leas & Ball, Nancy Haley. Nancy was a dedicated member to our Chapter who was diagnosed with cancer while working on our fundraising cookbook. The law firms were asked to submit recipes in the various categories such as meat, salads, appetizers, desserts, breads, etc. The recipes were submitted, typed, categorized and organized.
Nancy was such a trooper that she worked on this project the entire time she was ill and receiving treatments. The Chapter sold every cookbook that year thanks to the tremendous efforts of Nancy. Unfortunately, Nancy lost her fight with cancer. After her passing, the Chapter Board established the Nancy Haley Scholarship.
The purpose of the Nancy Haley Scholarship is to benefit a Board Member by enabling them to attend the Region 2 Conference. It is in honor of Nancy’s dedication and commitment to the Chapter that we honor similar commitments from our Board Members who typically serve a six year commitment once elected to the Board.
